01 โ€” Overview

The problem we were solving.

Gabbar Dhaba is a popular restaurant brand with 3 branches in India. They had no online presence and were losing customers to competitors on Swiggy and Zomato โ€” paying heavy commissions with no direct relationship with their customers.

They wanted their own platform โ€” a website and app where customers could order directly, cutting out the middleman and building their own loyal customer base.

No website or online ordering system
Paying 20โ€“30% commission to Swiggy/Zomato on every order
No way to manage 3 branches from one place
No direct customer relationship or loyalty system

02 โ€” Solution

What we built.

๐ŸŒ

Restaurant Website

A fast, beautiful website at gabbardhaba.co.in โ€” showcasing the brand, menu, branches, and allowing customers to order directly online.

๐Ÿ“ฑ

Customer App

A Flutter mobile app with Swiggy-style ordering โ€” browse menu, add to cart, choose branch, pay via Razorpay, and track order in real time.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ

Admin Panel

A dashboard for all 3 branches โ€” manage menus, accept/reject orders, update availability, and view order history and analytics.

03 โ€” Challenges & Solutions

Hard problems we solved.

Challenge

Multi-branch menu management

โ†’
Solution

Built a branch-aware admin panel where each branch can manage its own menu, availability, and pricing independently โ€” all from one dashboard.

Challenge

Real-time order tracking

โ†’
Solution

Implemented live order status updates using Firebase Realtime Database โ€” customers see their order move from "confirmed" to "preparing" to "out for delivery" in real time.

Challenge

Swiggy-like ordering experience

โ†’
Solution

Designed a familiar cart-based ordering flow with category filters, item customisation, and a smooth checkout โ€” matching the UX customers already know from food delivery apps.
